HyFlex Cart Usage for Meetings
- Turn on the lectern computer and log on
- Use the generic classroom login for lectern (not your personal login, restart computer if you have problems using the generic login and it will reset)
- Log into zoom as host from lectern computer; do not enable audio on the lectern computer
- Recommended zoom settings:
- Always use a zoom password or waiting room for security
- Disable chat (use “raise hand” feature and pause frequently to ask for verbal feedback from on-ground and online participants
- Set-up breakout rooms in advance and assign participants in advance; if that is not possible have a partner assign breakout room participants while you are covering main room content
- Turn on HyFlex cart
- Log into zoom from HyFlex cart; do enable audio and video on hyflex cart (has wireless keyboard mouse combo and is also touch screen)
- Use the lectern computer to pull up your agenda or meeting materials
- For meeting content, do not use the classroom white board (use the white board in zoom)
- To display other meeting content, it is not recommended to use physical displays (use a word document, PPT, etc. or something that can be displayed digitally)
