Overview

At Imperial Valley College (IVC), you have multiple options on how you can schedule an appointment with a counselor. Below, you will find a step-by-step process for each of these different options.

Steps

Option 1Call the Office: Schedule an appointment by calling (760) 355-6543. 

Option 2Visit in Person: Stop by Building 100 to schedule an appointment. 

Option 3- Join a Counseling Zoom Room: Schedule an appointment online via Zoom. 

*How to Join a Zoom Online Counseling Session: Follow these steps to join a Zoom online counseling session: 

  1. Visit the IVC Home Pagehttps:/imperial.edu
  2. Navigate to Student Support: Click on the “Student Support” tab. 
  3. Access Counseling & Transfer: Scroll down and select “Counseling & Transfer.” 
  4. Visit Counseling: Click on “Visit Counseling” to join a Zoom room. 
     

Option 4Counseling Service Request Form: Fill out online request form 

*How to submit a Counseling Service Request Form: If you need additional services or have specific questions, you can submit a request form by following these steps: 

  1. Visit the IVC Home Page: Go to IVC’s website. 
  2. Navigate to Student Support: Click on the “Student Support” tab. 
  3. Access Counseling & Transfer: Scroll down and select “Counseling & Transfer.” 
  4. Request Counseling Services: Scroll down and click on “Request Counseling Services.” 
  5. Fill Out the Form: Provide as many details as possible. 
  6. Submit the Form: Once completed, click “Submit.”
