Overview
Navigating course registration can sometimes be a challenge, especially when classes fill up quickly. Fortunately, Webstar allows students to waitlist courses. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to waitlist a class through the Webstar portal:
Steps

Log in to WebStar:
Start by logging into your WebStar account with your student credentials.

Access Your Student Dashboard:
Once logged in, navigate to the "Your Student Services" on the portal's homepage.

Go to Student Services and Registration:
From your Student Services menu select "Registration."

Choose Your Path:
Click on "Register"
Note: The Registration Survey must be completed at the start of every new term (semester). If you don't see the "Choose Your Path" option, please ensure you've completed and submitted the Registration Survey to proceed with registration.

Register for Classes:
In the Registration Page click on "Register for Classes"

Select Your Term:
Choose the appropriate term for which you would like to register (e.g., Fall, Spring).

Find Your Class:
Use the "Find Classes" tab to search for the course you want to enroll in. You can search by subject, course number, or CRN. For more specific results, the "Advanced Filters" option allows you to filter by meeting days, times, instructor, buildings, instructional methods and subject keywords.

Add the Class:
After locating the course, click the "Add" button to include it in your registration summary.
- Action:
With the class in your summary panel, in the "Action" dropdown menu, select "Wait Listed."

Submit Your Registration:
To finalize the waitlist process, click "Submit" in the bottom-right corner of the summary panel. Upon success, the status will update to display a bright green "Waitlisted" badge.
Important Reminder: Be sure to click "Submit" to finalize your registration. Without selecting "Submit," your registration will not be completed.
