You will need an Ellucian account to log in. If you do not have an account, please submit a Banner ticket to request access.

Navigating to Banner Release Notes in the Customer Center

  • Step 1: Log in to the Ellucian Customer Center

    • Click on Customer Login.

    • Sign in using your Ellucian credentials.

  • Step 2: Access the Release Notes

    • Select the Support menu.

    • Use the filters on the left to narrow down results. At a minimum, filter by Banner.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

    Step 3: Find Relevant Release Information

    • Application Services will provide release number information with each monthly scheduled maintenance window:

      • Point releases or patches: Announced at least 1 week in advance.

      • Major module releases: Announced at least 2 weeks in advance.

    • Use the Keyword Search bar to search by release number.

    • Click on the product number in the first column (hyperlink) to access detailed release information.

  • Step 4: Review Release Notes

    • Review available product documentation.
    • Check for any related defects or enhancements.
    • The Target GA Date field refers to the scheduled general release date.
  • Step 5: Subscribe for Updates

    • To receive email notifications about updates, click ‘Subscribe’ in the top-right corner of the product update page. This ensures you receive alerts when changes or new notes are added.
