HyFlex Cart Usage for Meetings

  1. Turn on the lectern computer and log on
    1. Use the generic classroom login for lectern (not your personal login, restart computer if you have problems using the generic login and it will reset)

 

  1. Log into zoom as host from lectern computer; do not enable audio on the lectern computer
    1. Recommended zoom settings:
      1. Always use a zoom password or waiting room for security
      2. Disable chat (use “raise hand” feature and pause frequently to ask for verbal feedback from on-ground and online participants
      3. Set-up breakout rooms in advance and assign participants in advance; if that is not possible have a partner assign breakout room participants while you are covering main room content

 

  1. Turn on HyFlex cart
    1. Log into zoom from HyFlex cart; do enable audio and video on hyflex cart (has wireless keyboard mouse combo and is also touch screen)

 

  1. Use the lectern computer to pull up your agenda or meeting materials
    1. For meeting content, do not use the classroom white board (use the white board in zoom)
    2. To display other meeting content, it is not recommended to use physical displays (use a word document, PPT, etc. or something that can be displayed digitally)
