How to Navigate the New Banner Resource Hub Webpage

Overview

The Banner Resource Hub is your central location for accessing various Banner-related resources at IVC. This guide will walk you through the layout and navigation of the new webpage, ensuring you can find what you need efficiently.

Accessing the Banner Resource Hub

  • Sign in to SSO PortalGuard.
  • Navigate to the new Banner Resource Hub by selecting the "Banner Resources" button.

Homepage Layout

Upon landing on the homepage, you will see the following sections:

1. Welcome Section
  • Displays a personalized greeting (e.g., Hi there, Team Member).
  • Provides an introduction to the Banner Resource Hub.
2. Resource Categories

A grid of categorized resource buttons allows quick access to different Banner-related systems. Each category is a dropdown button containing links to related systems and tools. Categories include:

  • Banner Production
  • Banner TEST
  • Argos
  • DegreeWorks
  • XTender
  • Parchment
  • Civitas
  • Campus Logic
  • OpenCCCApply
  • TouchNet
  • Machforms
  • Miscellaneous

To view available resources within a category:

  1. Click the dropdown button for the category.
  2. Select the relevant resource link from the expanded list.
3. Search Bar
  • The Search Bar is located in the top-right corner of the page.
  • It allows users to quickly search for a specific resource by typing the link name.
  • The search will automatically expand the dropdown that contains the matching link.
4. Expand All Button
  • The Expand All button is a red button located next to the search bar.
  • Clicking this button expands all categories, displaying all available resource links at once.
  • When expanded, the button changes to Collapse All, allowing you to close all dropdowns with a single click.
5. Help & Knowledge Base Resources

At the bottom of the page, two key sections provide additional information:

  • Ellucian Customer Center: A link to the Ellucian Customer Center where users can access release notes and other documentation.
  • Knowledge Base Articles: Quick access to internal documentation on how to navigate Ellucian Customer Center.

Additional Tips

  • Bookmark the Banner Resource Hub for quick access.
  • Use the search bar to locate specific tools instead of manually expanding categories.
  • If you encounter issues accessing a resource, submit a support ticket through the IT help desk.
